Greater Yellow Legs

We have a previous photo of this species of bird. That picture was made at the western side of Boundary Bay, this one is from the northernmost shore. This area is usually home for ducks and dunlin, with the occasional hawk or eagle. Consequently, this bird caught our attention.

We selected this photograph as much for the look of the water ripples as for the bird.

The original image has been cropped top, bottom, and on the left to emphasize the waves on the water. The bird has been dodged (lightened) a little bit to bring out more feather detail.
