You can always get a good photo when you visit the Reiffel Bird Sanctuary. This duck was one of a pair standing on an old floating log just soaking up the sun. The male Wood Duck is probably the prettiest bird in our area.

The colour of the water really is as shown, honestly I wouldn't swim in it if I were that duck!
The contrast between the white and black feathers exceeded the camera's dynamic range.
The computer background image has AI generated extensions on both sides. Since the duck takes up nearly the entire frame vertically, there wasn't enough room to crop for the aspect ratio of the background.
