Steveston Harbour from London Dock

Steveston is at the southwest corner of Richmond, the suburb directly south of Vancouver. The area is growing with new restaurants and condominiums. London Dock is immediately east of Steveston harbour and this photograph is from the dock pointing westwards. The island at the left of the picture is narrow and uninhabitated. It hides the mouth of the Fraser River as it opens into the Strait of Georgia.
