Brackendale B.C. Canada is a village on the Squamish River north of Vancouver, just past the end of beautiful Howe Sound. It is famous for a winter congregation of eagles coming to feed from a chum salmon run. This photograph was made from a popular walkway looking west across the river. The sun is low in the winter, giving a backlighting to the foreground trees. This picture, full of detail, makes a particularly good large print.
