Botanical Beach is on the west coast of Vancouver Island. This picture is from an area a short walk north of the actual beach. There are many tidal pools there teeming with the sea-life that gives the area its name. The geology of the small area varies quite a bit making it a good spot for photographers and the naturally curious.
Photography notes:
The only post-processing on this image is that the bottom cropped a little off so that the bright green seaweed wouldn't dominate the rock. The Hasselblad has dynamic range and image quality that matches modern high-end mirrorless full-frame cameras.
