Campbell Valley Regional Park is the closest rural park to our home that is big enough to have several kilometres of walking trails. A couple of hundred metres behind these trees is its northernmost parking area. This scene is one along our most popular trail (a 5km loop) starting from there.
Photography notes:
This photo was made with a very wide angle lens, consequently the trees show quite a lot of convergence. This image you see was manipulated (the top was stretched out) to greatly reduce this effect. A little bit of convergence is left to make it look "normal". The trees look to be about twice as far from the camera than they actually were.
