On a recent trip to Bavaria we visited the Brauneck by Lenggries. This area is well known for its beautiful mountain flora. The yellow kidney vetch is an old medicinal herb and was used for wound healing. It likes dry sunny locations and is often grown as an alpine and rock garden plant.
