Pyramid Mountain is just north of Jasper village, in Jasper National Park. This picture was made from the other side of Pyramid Lake, reachable from the village with a short and pleasant drive along Pyramid Road. We seem to attract rather poor weather with us whenever we have our vacation, on a previous trip to this spot we encountered a very strong storm that knocked down trees on the road between us and our lodgings. We suspect most people enjoy much better weather and have actually seen this mountain without shadows being cast from heavy wet and threatening clouds.
