When using an infrared camera, even with some experience, it is difficult to anticipate how the image will look. It encourages more experimentation and we often just try things to see how they "turn out". This is an example, here the texture of the fence is much stronger in the infrared then it was in normal light and it makes for a strong and pleasing picture.
