Mountain in the Yukon

This picture was made from a promontory near the Tombstone Territorial Park on the Dempster Highway in the Yukon. The traces of fall colour on the mountain indicate where there is a little more moisture to sustain trees or bushes. This valley is about 1300m in elevation (the mountain, which is unnamed, is over 2000m) so the weather is generally dry, and very cold in the winter.
