This picture was made in Jasper National Park east of the village of Jasper near the eastern park entrance. The ridge has remarkably deep fissures seen near the centre of the picture. The picture is a composite of five exposures, the camera's information below is from the middle exposure. The full resolution of this image is over 96 megapixels. The flash application below lets you see the details from the very large original picture, as you zoom in and move around it grabs more data from my server, so you may have to wait a few seconds to get a clear image.
