The Lions are the best known feature of Vancouver's North Shore Mountains and the West Lion is, at 1646m, the second tallest peak. This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago after the first heavy snow fall of the season. Looking southwest beyond the Lions we see Keats Island, behind it is Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast. The mountains on the horizon are on Vancouver Island.
