Silk Tree

This picture is of the branch ends of a Silk Tree, or Albizia julibrissin. This tree is rarely found in our area, Vancouver Canada. We live at about the northernmost area it can tolerate. The tree has nice flowers and the leaves can exhibit an interesting moire pattern. It is not so well liked further south where it is an invasive alien species. For this picture, the camera was pointing nearly straight upwards.
