This photograph was made from roughly the same position as the very popular picture of Mt. Rogers and Perley Peak, just swinging the camera to the right. If you compare these two photographs, you will see the difference between Fuji Velvia, used for this picture, and Kodak Etkachrome 400, used for the other picture. Of course another big difference between these two is that the clouds moved as the camera was reloaded (this pictures was made first - on the end of the roll).
