This is and isn't a typical forest scene from Watershed Park. The forest varies quite a bit within the park, this particular part is younger than most and the background has more deciduous trees. Nevertheless, the density of the vegetation is fairly representative of the park. This picture makes a wonderfully nice large print with plenty of detail.
Photography notes:
This photograph was originally processed as a black & white. We find a B&W photo shows texture and detail better than a colour one. However, in this case, we felt the green of the forest was needed. We restored the original colours (the originals from this camera are always in colour) using the B&W image to supply about half of the luminosity.
