Our area has many Bigleaf Maple and Vine Maple trees, as well as other maples. The leaves of the Big Leaf Maple are truly large, really big ones can be over 40cm wide. Most are roughly half that size. The trees are also large, there are several in our area over 30m high. In the fall they turn mostly yellow but some turn red or have red patterns.
