Oxeye Daisy

Leucanthemum vulgare

We know this is an invader to our area and not a native, but it looks so nice!. When this was photographed, there was a fairly small patch of these flowers along perhaps 30 metres, or so, of a walking path through Campbell Valley. We will keep an eye out over the next few years to see what becomes of these plants.

Photography notes:

This picture is cropped a little from the top and right. There was a pink thistle flower at the top and the right side didn't include any out-of-focus flowers. It was a bit windy when this was made, so the shutter speed was kept high to compensate.
