Quaking Aspen Grove and Fir

This grove of quaking aspens was photographed just north of Jasper townsite. There were very few conifers in the grove but this one was situated in just the right position to have that gradual change from thinner trees at the edges of the frame to the thicker ones in the middle. The light colour of the leaves in the early spring gives just the right mood to the background.
