Herbert Lake is on the Icefields Highway in Banff National Park very close to the southern end of the road. Also in this picture are (from right to left) Mount Whyte, Mount St. Piren, Mount Aberdeen, and Fairview Mountain. The smallish white spot on the left slope of Mt. St. Piren is a very tall mountain called "The Mitre" off in the distance. The original is a 200 megapixel image, at the bottom of this page you can see some of the details it contains.
