Before Vancouver was settled, it was an active centre for logging. The ghosts of this history are slowly disappearing. The park at Lynn Valley has many stumps from this time as well as some artifacts from the logging camps. However it would have been nice if the loggers had left just a few more of the climax forests intact for us to enjoy near to our home.
