We've wanted to put this photo onto our web site for quite some time but we were not happy with the look of it with the tools that were available to us. The original has too much image noise due to the limitations of the technology at the time it was taken. However owing to newer software with better algorithms, the noise is reduced to an acceptable level without losing important detail. We hope you enjoy the look of these frozen droplets.
