Japanese Blue Iris

This variety of Iris is a cultivar and is found in many gardens in our area, usually in very moist soils. This picture was made at the edge of a reflecting pond with "wild" plants growing around its edges. A tilt/shift lense provided the extended depth of focus for the front three flowers that were not in line with the camera.
