West from Eagle Plains

This photograph was taken a short distance from the Dempster Highway in the Yukon. It is an area call the Eagle Plains, a high plateau in the western arctic. Unfortunately, there has been wildfires in this area and, if you look carefully, you can see some of the damage it has done.
