We only had sunny weather on the last day of our vacation so a new Linhof Technikardan camera did not get much use. However on that last day we managed to make this photograph of Mount Christie. Getting the image to the website took a little as we had no scanner for large format film. Finally we found a used scanner for sale that met our standards. The results are well worth the wait, the original for this image consists of over 100 megapixels and it makes an excellent large print. To give an idea of the detail in the original file, if we made a 4 foot by 5 foot print and cut out the following crop, it would be the size of of a standard 4" x 6" print - and it would have the same detail as a normal print from a digital point & shoot camera (one with a big telephoto lens).
