The ocean in our part of the world transports many things: products to and from the far east, wood to our sawmills, and various bits of flotsam to our beaches. This image is of a piece of painted board that washed up onto a beach in West Vancouver. This image was made with a 55mm lens onto Kodachrome 25 slide film, it was scanned at 10,000 samples per square millimetre.
