On our way home after a visit to Edmonton, we took a short side trip to see a bit of Wells Grey Park. We only allowed ourselves a few short hours, but we will return! The park is around six hours away north and east of Vancouver (about an hour north of Kamloops). Dawson Falls on the Mertle River is upstream from the more popular Helmkin Falls. Helmkin Falls is much taller than Niagara Falls although the water volume of the Mertle River is much, much smaller than the Niagara.
