Just to show that Irmgard can make landscape photographs, she made this one of the area just east of the village of Jasper from a short distance from the Trans-Canada highway. The next photograph is a nature photograph by Gerald. Just to show that both of us are competent in each other's specialties.
We make frequent trips to the Canadian Mountain national parks. This year (2000) we made an usually brief stay of only 10 days. Fortunately the weather was very good for the whole stay. We are not as familiar with Jasper as we are with Banff, Yoho and Glacier. I think next time we'll make a point of exploring around Jasper. This area has a broad valley and we have found it easier to find large animals here than in other areas of the Rockies.
