This black-and-white photograph emphasizes detail and texture. It's one of our favourite computer backgrounds and it also works well as a large print if it matches the decor of a room.
There are several species in the genus Canna Lily (or just Canna), we don't know which one applies to this plant. Of course, Canna Lilies are not actually lilies. There are similarly named Calla Lilies which are also not a single species and most of these are also not actually lilies.

This picture was made from a 13 image focus stack. Each of the 13 images were focused at a slightly different distance and the sharpest part of each image was included in the final picture. It was also converted to black-and-white to emphasize the pattern of the leaves. Automated focus stacking is one of the features built into the camera used for this picture.
