This photograph is a study in the detail and pattern of the backlit leaves. Have a look at one of the larger resolution images to have a closer look. The plant has many varieties and we can't say which one this is. The Hosta was originally thought to be a part of the Lily family, but DNA analysis show it to belongs with Asparagus.
