The digital manipulations of the photographs we post on this web site are usually limited to dust removal, contrast adjustments, and resizing. This time we have a heavily manipulated image just for a change. The original negative was accidentally underexposed, so much so that contrast adjustments was unable to bring back a usable picture. Instead we had a starting point for playing with Photoshop.
The original photograph was made early in the morning as the sun was rising. The manipulated image has the mood of the original setting.
