During our most recent vacation trip to Jasper National Park, we came across a herd of goats busily licking salt from a motor home. We were on the road to Maligne Lake near Medicine Lake. The young German vacationing couple from the motor home could not believe their eyes. Fortunately our car was not so tasty, but this kid allowed us to approach to make this picture with a 105mm lens. An aperture of f2.8 explains the shallow depth of field - throwing the background rock face out of focus.
